1. Follow the Meeting Structure
Adhere to the established format for all Resilient Women in Business (RWIB) meetings.
2. Practice with Provided Materials
Familiarize yourself with the PowerPoint presentations from the Home Office for the first meeting of each month.
3. Start Meetings on Time
Begin promptly, allowing a brief buffer (10 minutes for 90-minute meetings; 15 minutes for 2-hour meetings) for attendees to settle in. Respect punctual attendees by not delaying for latecomers.
4. Welcome New Members
Recognize and applaud new members by name during members-only meetings.
5. Pre-Launch and Venue Selection
Scout suitable venues in your city for hosting meetings. Negotiate with venues to book during their quiet times for mutual benefit. Reach out to the Home Office for support if needed.
6. Recruit New Members
Lead by example by actively inviting guests and encouraging members to do the same.
7. Event Promotion
Promote events on social media and groups you’re in (if allowed). Share individual event links from the Resilient Women in Business website to invite guests.
8. Engage on Social Media
Regularly post about leading your group with pictures of your members and extend invitations to others to join.
9. Track Member Success
Maintain a spreadsheet of members and their business sales each month to monitor chapter success. A template is provided to all leaders.
10. Groom an Assistant
Train an assistant to step in during your absence. Notify the Home Office if you are unavailable. Meetings can also be moved to Zoom as a backup option.
11. Sign the Leader’s Agreement
Leaders are independent contractors and earn commissions. Submit invoices monthly to the Home Office. Leaders receive free membership and participate in our Loyalty Program.
